Peaceful and serene. We had a wonderful weekend at Shamba Yetu Mountain Lodge! Tent 1 is well equipped and looks out onto such beautiful scenery. The staff are very friendly and provided clear directions to the lodge; however, the road leading to it is a bit bumpy. We certainly look forward to going back!

Absolutely loved our stay - it was just what the Dr ordered. I would, however, recommend that they provide some kind of hanging or closet space in the main bedroom of the unit that we stayed in. We had to keep all our clothes in our bags.

Wonderfully relaxing and appreciating the neat facilities. We camped on the caravan site with our Skipper Oyster trailer. The trailer handled the dirt road to the stand with ease. Beautiful location, clean bathrooms, friendly reception and helpful staff. Barbecue and bathrooms are cleaned daily. Pitches each have their own water tap, power (caravan blue plug type) and braai stand. The 5 pitches are very close to each other, so go as a minimum of 2 pitches next to each other as friends or family, or you will have to make friends with your neighbor very soon. The place is really worth it if you are looking for tranquility for a few days, in the forest under the stars and a stone's throw from the West Rand where we live. Will make a visit there again.
