Description
Shamba Yetu Mountain Lodge is set against a backdrop of lush vegetation and mountainous hills, situated on a farm just off the R24 between Magaliesburg and Rustenburg. With the beautiful Magaliesburg Mountains, it is an idyllic place for a getaway where you can appreciate wildlife, birds, beautiful views and get in touch with nature.
Accommodation is available in 2 well-equipped self-catering units which are each able to accommodate 4 adults, 2 structured tents which can accommodate 2 or 4 guests respectively, caravan sites which can accommodate 4 guests in each, and a 4x4 Bush Camp. For the self-catering units, linen and towels are provided. The units are separate and private and each has its own splash pool, braai facility and fire pit. The units are each equipped with a flat-screen TV with selected DStv channels. Free Wi-Fi access is also provided. The units are serviced daily. A private chef is available on request and by prior arrangement.
Tent 1 has one bedroom with a queen bed and tent 2 has 2 bedrooms, 1 with a queen bed and the other with 2 single beds. Other facilities include a bathroom with a shower and a fully-equipped kitchenette. The caravan sites have their own braai facilities, lights and water supply. Guests have access to ablution facilities with showers, toilets and basins. A wash-up area is available at the ablution building.
The 4x4 Bush Camp is approximately 2 km from the other camp sites and self-catering units. This spot is ideal for those that enjoy wild camping. A long drop toilet is provided, however, nothing else is provided. Guests are required to bring their own caravan or camping equipment. A 4x4 is required to access the spot. No water and electricity is available at this site.
