Ons het heerlik gebly in Shasha Lodge, soveel so dat ons 'n ekstra aand gebly het! Ons was 'n groep van 11 met 9 jong kinders. Daar was meer as genoeg slaapplek vir ons almal. We had a wonderful stay in Shasha Lodge, so much so that we stayed an extra night! We were a group of 11 with 9 young children. There was more than enough sleeping space for all of us. The rooms are spacious with good quality bed linen and beds. Bathrooms also spacious and clean. The added bonus is the jacuzzi and the pool table. We had animal visitors every day, impalas, peacocks, even a troop of monkeys. The view is very nice and the position great. The kids went fishing at Rocky's Fishing hole which I can highly recommend. We also booked a game drive through Lynette and saw impalas, kudus, giraffes, buffaloes, and even a rhinoceros with calf. We will definitely visit again!

Recommended for a large group and family get together.

Spacious and comfortable especially that we were a large group of people. Everything was nice and clean, and hiring the game drive vehicle for the day was an absolute must.

Baie mooi en 'n lekker familie-kuierhuis.

Oor die algemeen het ons baie lekker daar gekuier, die uitsigte is mooi, die kinders het heerlik gespeel en was veilig waar ons hulle kon dophou. Daar is meer as genoeg eetgerei, glase ensovoorts vir die 20 gaste plus mense van buite. Die geriewe in die huis is fantasties en daar is baie meer as wat 'n mens verwag van so 'n plek. Lynette het gehelp met die navrae. Die plek is baie mooi en ons kan sien daar is onlangs opgraderings gedoen. Die vloere was nie skoon met aankoms nie. En die addisionele beddegoed vir die bankbeddens is maar skaars. Ek sal die voorstel maak dat die plek daarin kan verbeter. En dalk skoonmaakdienste en die voertuie insluit by die prys nie as addisionele kostes aanheg nie (aangesien 'n mens nie in die gedeelte met eie vervoer kan ry nie). I would suggest that the place could improve in that. And perhaps cleaning services and the vehicles are not included in the price as additional costs (since one cannot drive in the section with one's own transport). The place was also just further away from Mabalingwe itself than I expected. But really a stunning place, we look forward to our next family weekend there!
