Lupela Lodge Silo Cottage is a charming restored self-catering unit that was once a grain store, situated in a scenic valley in the Witteberg mountains on the R58 between Barkly East and Lady Grey. It is ideal for a couple or small family.
This cottage can accommodate 2 adults and 1 child and comprises 1 en-suite bedroom. The bedroom is comfortably furnished with 2 three-quarter beds that can be converted into a king-size bed upon request. The bathroom is fitted with a shower, toilet, and washbasin. Linen and bath towels are provided.
The unit features a well-equipped kitchenette that includes a 2-plate stove, electric frying pan, microwave, kettle, toaster, cutlery, crockery, fridge-freezer, and a breakfast bar with stools. The lounge has comfortable seating as well as a child-only sleeper couch.
Guests can enjoy a covered patio with private braai facilities, picnic along the river, and swim in crystal-clear mountain pools. The farm offers spectacular views of deep valleys and sandstone cliffs shaped by the majestic Karnemelkspruit. With snow-capped mountains in winter and hot, rainy summers, this is a destination for any season.
