Description
Camping at Simonskloof Mountain Retreat is truly down to earth and eco-friendly. 8 spacious off-grid campsites are spread out around a 300-year-old oak tree and along a little mountain stream. Max. occupancy is 30 people only, keeping you safe from the crowds. Each site have some shade and grass patches, just as nature intended. All have their own water points with fresh mountain spring water. Eco-friendly compost toilets and gas operated hot water showers are available for ablutions. Access to the campground is not suitable for ordinary caravans, 4x4 trailers and rooftop tents are welcome, yet normal cars can easily make it. Simonskloof Mountain Retreat offers true off-grid eco-friendly hospitality, a network for hiking trails, rock climbing, abseiling, wilderness trekking and swimming in a farm dam just a short walk from the campsites or rock pools are just some of the activities right on your door step.
