Slo Joe is a charming and private anchored boat located on the peaceful Great Brak River, nestled in Pine Creek Caravan Park, between George and Hartenbos in the Western Cape. It offers a tranquil setting, surrounded by serene water and beautiful nature, making it an ideal retreat for those looking to relax and enjoy the natural beauty of the area.
This houseboat can accommodate 5 guests and is furnished with 2 double beds and a single bed. The bathroom is fitted with a shower, basin, and toilet.
The unit has a kitchenette equipped with a bar fridge, gas stove, basic cutlery, crockery, and tea- and coffee-making facilities, and extends to a lounge area. There is also gas braai to enjoy a lovely braai.
There is a rowing boat that can be used to navigate down the channel to the mouth of the river, where it meets the sea. This area is ideal for swimming, fishing, and birdwatching. After your outdoor activities, you can enjoy a meal at the restaurant in Great Brak River town. The nearest beach, Suiderkruis Beach, is about 900 m away.
