Smarag Cottage is a self-catering cottage built in 1932 and situated on a working smallholding in Buffeljagsrivier. The cottage is centrally located in Buffeljagsrivier, exactly 200 km between George and Cape Town, and close to popular wedding venues. It is just 10 km from Swellendam.
It is ideal for a quick stopover, or for those wanting to spend a relaxed getaway in the beautiful Overberg. It can accommodate up to 2 guests and comprises 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, and an open-plan kitchen, dining and living area. The bedroom contains a double bed with Egyptian cotton linen. The en suite contains a shower, a toilet and a washbasin. Bath towels are provided.
The kitchen is well-equipped to prepare your own meals. There is a 4-seater dining table and chairs. The cottage has Wi-Fi and there’s a TV, guests are welcome to bring their own laptop to watch TV. The cottage is fenced with a small lawn and offers safe under-roof parking.
