Cozy and neat. We were very impressed with the care of our hostess, she was very helpful. The place is nice and clean with an old farmhouse vibe. We were with our small dog who also enjoyed it very much.

The best place to overnight in Smithfield. Easy, felt at home, spacious, clean, full of character and history and farm animal friends, plus some farm produce for sale, meals if needed, a cold beer if needed, books for sale, everything we needed, lovely to chat to Amanda about the animal shelter but did not feel obliged.

This overnight BnB suited me perfectly. I'll stay here again. All the basics are right here - friendly hostess, fascinating animal rescue with a BnB added on! Comfortable bed and good linen, good shower, decent towels! Also good, home-cooked meals available right in my room, made life so simple. Price is right. No fridge, TV or hair dryer (that I found) in the room, didn't bother me but perhaps not convenient for everybody.
