Description
The Manor House is a spacious self-catering holiday home located on Somerset Gift Getaway Farm, approximately 16.8 km outside of Swellendam. This house is ideal for a large family or group of friends who are looking for a relaxing getaway surrounded by nature.
The house can accommodate up to 10 adults and 6 children in 6 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The first 4 bedrooms are all furnished with a queen-size bed and 2 of those rooms have access to en-suite bathrooms that are fitted with a shower, washbasin and toilet. The fifth bedroom is furnished with 2 single beds and the sixth bedroom contains 6 child-only single beds. The shared bathroom is fitted with a bath, shower, washbasin and toilet. Linen and bath towels are provided, however, guests are required to bring their own swimming towels.
The kitchen is equipped with a fridge-freezer, gas stove, oven, microwave, cutlery and crockery, tea- and coffee-making facilities and a dining table. The living area is furnished with comfortable seating, a fireplace and a TV. There is another seating area on top of the stairs. The covered patio is furnished with outdoor furniture, a dining table and a built-in braai. Access to Wi-Fi is available.
Guests have access to a private wood-fired hot tub, off-street parking and activities like swimming, canoeing, fishing and zip-lining on the river and they can enjoy some nature walks around the property. This property is within close proximity to local shops and restaurants in Swellendam.
