Rustic beauty and tranquility. We had the most wonderful stay at Sommerlust Manor. We stayed in the cosy Pool Cabin, which gives direct access to the large but rustic pool. The Manor is a historic site with lovely gardens and a wonderful rustic atmosphere. The service is excellent and the hosts went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. We certainly want to stay there again!

Comfortable but noisy above. Very nice but this time I was disturbed by the person moving above the garden cottage - the wooden floor above is very creaky.

Peaceful and private. Enjoyed the pool and there is a tennis court. The host was accommodating and prompt. The property is safe. This will be one of my top picks next time I am in the area.

Enjoyable stay after a long drive. We really enjoyed the stay at Sumerlust with the beautiful garden, swimming pool and all the other activities our adult children could enjoy.

It was an amazing experience staying at Sommerlust Manor. It was so amazing, the location of the accommodation is close to everywhere we needed to be and we didn't have to take long drives going to any place. The staff was so friendly and helpful and they had a complimentary drink upon arrival. The best part was that because it was so cold, the beds had electric blankets we could preheat before we slept.

Lovely, comfortable and elegant. This is such a lovely unit. My husband and in-laws enjoyed the private stoep, comfortable seats, TVs and overall setup. The unit has a SMEG kettle, fridge and all appliances you need to make your stay-over comfortable and effortless. There was safe undercover parking for our vehicles. We would definitely stay here again. I have absolutely no complaints.
