I had a wonderful stay at South Hill. The place is absolutely lovely with nice clean rooms and wide open spaces for children to play or swim. I only had a couple of negatives. The road up to the farm is obviously not ideal, but then it is farmlands so I can't really complain about that too much. I was quite disappointed that my specific room being the cellar suite has absolutely no internet connectivity. You have to go outside into the garden to find some signal. Even the guest WiFi was of no use. Then I realise our family of 3 were the only ones staying so the kitchen didn't open. I would have liked to have known that before our stay. There were several guests arriving on the day that we left and all the effort seemed aimed at them, the kitchen would be open and the pool lounge chairs had been taken out and set next to the pool whereas for us it didn't seem to be a priority? But to end I have to say the staff were all wonderful and friendly. I am sure we would go back again at some point.
