Description
Spitskop Plaashuis is an upmarket, self-catering farmhouse situated on a small scale working farm with magnificent views of the valley towards Lydenburg.
This house can accommodate 10 persons and is ideal for guests looking for a tranquil break from city life. This spacious house comprises 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. All 5 bedrooms are north-facing and open onto a verandah. The 2 en-suite bedrooms are furnished with a king-size bed in each, with a full en-suite in the main bedroom. The remaining 3 bedrooms have twin beds in each and share 1 full bathroom. Each bed is fitted with top quality linen, and additional blankets are provided as well. Hairdryers are supplied in all rooms.
The house has 3 living rooms; each with its own Jetmaster fireplace. DStv with dual viewing is available in 2 of the living rooms. The main dining room seats 10 people at the table. A spacious verandah with an undercover braai- and potjie-facilities are available, and table with seating for 12 people.
The well-equipped, open-plan kitchen has a microwave, fridge-freezer, 2 electric ovens, a gas oven and a gas stove. The separate scullery features a dishwasher, washing machine and tumble-dryer.
A private study is available in the house as well. A collection of books is available for reading at guests leisure. There are 2 automated garages, with direct entry to the house. There is also a garden with a pond and swings for children. High rise or clearance vehicles are recommended to access the property, in rainy weather.
The property contains excellent security features such as electric fencing, beams, an alarm and armed response.
The house is located close to a 5 Star hotel, where one can arrange to go day trip fishing and play golf at the golf course. There are also various activities in Dullstroom for guests to experience.
