Description
The Sterkspruit Farm is situated on an escarpment that forms part of the Drakensberg Mountains and is overlooking the popular Schoemanskloof Valley.
The Manor House Shalom offers 4 rooms. Lemon Room has a double bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower, toilet and basin. Aloe and Palm Rooms are equipped with 2 single beds and share a separate bathroom with a bath, toilet and basin. Fern Room has a double bed and a cot and shares a bathroom with the Aloe and Fern bedrooms. Kiepersol functions as a conference venue and comprises 2 loft suites, each fitted with an extra-length queen-size bed, double sleeper couch and an en-suite bathroom with a shower, toilet and basin. Silver Oak offers 2, self-catering Cottages with a double bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower, toilet and basin, as well as a small patio with braai facilities. Silver Oak has got solar power and there is no fridge. All of the accommodation is fully self-catering. Guests in these rooms share common facilities, such as the lounge area, kitchen, bathrooms, Lapa and braai facilities. Silver Oak is recommended to guests seeking more privacy.
There are also 3 tents. Two tents sleep 2 guests each and the third tent sleeps up to 10 guests. The big tent sleeps 6 comfortably if you want to add a kitchen area. Hane and Henne offer ablution facilities for the camping area.
Sterkspruit guest farm is completely self catering and guests are advised to prepare well in advance with regards to grocery shopping and other requirements such as ice and personel items that might be needed during your stay, as there are no shopping facilities close by.
We offer a beautiful swimming pool with braais under the trees. We supply wood for the braais. Please note that guests need to supply their own towels. We don't allow guests to use the guest towels from the rooms.
Sterkspruit Mountain Haven offers a variety of activities such as hiking trails, also suited for mountain biking, 4×4 vehicles and mountain climbing.
Sterkspruit Mountain Haven is situated within an hour's drive from all major tourist attractions like the Kruger National Park, Sudwala Caves and also Mbombela (Nelspruit) with 2 shopping centres that offer a casino, cinemas, and ice rink.
