It was a privilege to be able to stay on Stokkiesdraai. Stick twirling looked awfully good at us. It is really an experience to be able to live on such a beautiful plot and to have so much accommodation available. The houses and sleeping quarters are well maintained and the upgrades in the bathrooms are amazing. We had a great time on Stokkiesdraai. Prosper (accommodation caretaker) and his team spoiled us by lighting fireplaces in the evenings as well as making fires outside for us to enjoy. The service provided by the team was excellent and we are grateful for all the cleaning and tidying of the houses on a daily basis. I recommend Stokkiesdraai to anyone any day. The tranquility along the Vaal river and the incredibly beautiful view over the yard to the river was also a great asset to our wonderful stay.

We enjoyed our stay with family and the hospitality from the staff was incredible. I would suggest that the main house bathrooms get some TLC and showers instead of a bath. I would highly recommend it to a big group of family or friends as a weekend getaway.
