Strathwold Farm - Stonehaven Cottage is a historical self-catering cottage situated on a scenic farm nestled between Watervalboven and Machadodorp in the nature lush province of Mpumalanga. This is an ideal option for a peaceful and tranquil getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city.
This cottage can accommodate a total of 2 adults and 2 children at a time and comprises a spacious bedroom. This bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed and includes a child-only cot and single mattress. A shower, washbasin and toilet are available in the bathroom. Quality linen and bath towels are provided.
The cosy open-plan living area features a kitchen fully equipped with a stove, oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, cutlery and crockery as well as a breakfast bar with stools. Leading from the kitchen is a cosy lounge with comfy seating, a fireplace and a TV. Complimentary firewood is available.
Through the double doors, there is a covered patio with outdoor seating and a Weber braai as well as a sunny patio with a table and chairs under an umbrella. Guests can fully relax on the patio with a morning coffee or a sundowner while admiring the surrounding farm and mountains.
Strathwold Farm offers various hiking trails, mountain biking, bird watching and game viewing such as eland, golden wildebeest, waterbuck, impala, sable, blesbok and a resident giraffe. Guests are also welcome to row on the 2 dams on the farm.
