The house comprises 3 bedrooms, a bathroom with a bath, an outdoor shower, a kitchen, and a lounge and dining area. There are 2 bedrooms with a double bed in each and 1 bedroom with 2 single beds. The kitchen is equipped with a gas fridge, a gas stove, and cutlery and crockery. Braai facilities are also available. As the house is off the grid, there is no electricity, cell phone reception, or Wi-Fi. Lighting is by candles and gas lamps to retain the atmosphere.
The house is ideal for those looking for a sense of frontier history, away from traffic and noise. Spend time in natural surroundings and gaze at beautiful stars at night. The corbelled houses are unique in South Africa, and similar structures only exist in 3 districts in the Northern Cape. The house oozes the history of the area.
