Peaceful location with lots of fynbos and some beautiful hikes. The location is beautiful and ideal for a quiet retreat. We did a lovely hike that ended with a dip in a little dam. The fynbos and views are beautiful. The accommodation was ok, a little overpriced for what is essentially a basic cabin (with some very expensive designer furnishings). However, some of the spaces are a little bit awkward to use - the kitchen in particular. The hosts did not send us directions or warn us not to use Google Maps to navigate, so we had to call them when we got lost trying to find the location. However, Cobus then sent us the info pack quite promptly and we managed to find our way using his directions. Hosts also don't provide the small complimentary amenities such as milk or ice that you would usually find so be sure to take your own!
