Uncomfortable and not a pleasant stay as it is not conducive to self-catering.

We did not enjoy the room that was allocated to us. The curtains were old and tacky and could not close properly; the lounge had only one couch, which was a dirty, broken old two-seater couch that gave me back problems by the end of my stay. The coffee table is old, stained and burned. The kitchen has a two-plate gas stove that does not work and no oven, so what is the point of booking self-catering accommodation when you cannot cater for yourself? The bathroom is down the hall and not part of the room and accessible by anyone entering the building and sharing a room in the building. In general, the place is dirty and not well maintained and definitely not a true reflection of the pictures on the website. At least there was new linen on the beds and the beds seemed to be in good condition.

On arrival, you think it's an amazing place, but when you settle in, you realize it is old!

Lovely owner Martin. So accommodating and he will do really well there when he can afford to upgrade the place. It is bit old and needs to be modernised. The rooms smelt musty and the water coming out the taps looked like brackish water. Place was clean-ish, but definitely could be cleaner. Having said all the above, really enjoyed the stay. Breakfast was great and staff all lovely.

Vyfsterplek met baie vriendelike personeel.

Rustige omgewing, pragtige eenhede. Ons sal definitief in die toekoms weer hier kom bly.

Wonderlik.

Het ons verblyf baie geniet. Ligging gerieflik en rustig. Sal dit aanbeveel. Eenheid pragtig.

Baie swak kommunikasie vanaf bestuurder, en dan lieg hy om sy foutjie weg te steek.

Geen ontbyt beskikbaar nadat my gesin vir 'n wyle gesit het met geen lodge-verteenwoordiger in sig nie, het ek maar die bestuurder gebel. Hy antwoord my op die naam en sê hy het vir almal 'n boodskap gestuur, maar het my nommer verloor. Na ons reeds vertrek het (sonder ontbyt) kry ek ewe skielik 'n SMS ter verduideliking van 'n kragprobleem in die kombuis. Behalwe vir die swak bestuur is die kamers baie gemaklik en ruim.

Ek vrae om verskoning vir die slegte diens en ongerief wat ontvang is en sal seker maak dit gebeur nie weer nie, julle is meer as welkom om 'n gratis aand by ons oor te bly om dit te herstel. Enige tyd wanneer dit julle pas.
