Description
Sweni Lodge 91 Mjejane Kruger, is located in the Mjejane Private Game Reserve, 2 km passed Hectorspruit. Situated on the banks of the Crocodile River, Mjejane Game Reserve is South Africa’s premier reserve and the only residential estate that boasts a private direct access bridge into the Kruger National Park.
Sweni Lodge is situated on the Western side of the main river lodge along the bush stands. There are 3 bedrooms fitted with double beds in the first 2 bedrooms, while the third room is a kid’s room which features twin single beds. The house features 2 full bathrooms, all rooms are fitted with air-conditioning. There is also a large TV with pre-loaded movies for your viewing pleasure. Uncapped WiFi. A private external deck overlooks the bushveld and as well as a beautiful braai area. The solar system, gas stove and geysers ensure minimal interruptions should power supply be interrupted.
The pool is a short walk away. A small community shop is run from the clubhouse but only the very basic necessities are offered. Jungle gyms, outdoor chess and a games room are available to keep the children entertained. Undercover parking is provided for 2 vehicles. The lodge's own private game vehicle can be booked with a private guide for sunset and sunrise drives.
Mjejane private game reserve is situated on 10 km of Crocodile River frontage on the southern border of Kruger and has been incorporated into the greater Kruger National Park. View the Big 5 from the lodge overlooking the bushveld, Book a game drive with the lodges private game vehicle, or do a self-drive safari into Kruger over the direct private access bridge (temporally closed). Game animals including the Big 5 are free to move between Mjejane and the greater Kruger National Park.
