Sybrand Mankadan Apartment offers comfortable self-catering accommodation in a tastefully decorated 2 -bedroom apartment. The secure apartment is located on the second floor of the Sybrand Mankadan building in Stellenbosch. You access this with stairs only.
The apartment comprises 2 bedrooms. The main bedroom has a king-size bed which can also be converted into 2 single beds. Please request this before your arrival. It is the only room that also has an Air conditioner. The second bedroom is a very small double bed room. There is a bathroom with a shower, toilet and basin, and bath towels are provided. The kitchen is equipped for self-catering with a fridge, an oven and stove, and a microwave, as well as a dishwasher and a combined washing machine and tumble dryer for guests convenience. The apartment is equipped with Wi-Fi (uncapped) and a TV with Netflix (please use your own account). Guests can enjoy views of the street below with lots of restaurants and coffee shops.
Guests have access to secure off-street parking with automated gate access that opens via remote control. The apartment is just 650m from Stellenbosch University, and is conveniently located within walking distance to local stores, shops, wine bars and restaurants. The Coetzenburg Sports Centre is 1 km away, and guests can go jogging, mountain biking or hiking in the Jonkershoek Nature Reserve which is 9.2 km away.
Please take note that during the busy summer months the town center is very busy and can get noisy at times. Students are often around as well.
