My new favorite overnight spot in the Karoo! We had a lovely overnight stay at Taaiboschfontein, on our way back to Gauteng. Breakfast is served from 6am, so you can hit the road again very early. We drove the 15km gravel road easily and quickly in a Sedan. It was really worth it and good value for money! Lezanne is a gem and made us feel very much at home. Buy a Karoo choppie and Sanna's curry beet salad from them and throw it on the coals and marvel at the incredible starry sky. We'll be back!

Safe (farm) home from home with everything you need. Taaiboschfontein pleasantly surprised us! It's safe, clean and tidy accommodation with comfortable beds and a great shower. Add to that freshly baked toast cakes, farm sausage and Karoo chops and any traveller has everything they need! And I almost forgot about the lovely swimming pool to cool off in. We will come and stay again.
