Lovely peaceful home away from home. The owner, Saverio, and his partner, Maggie, are two lovely people. We had breakfast at the lodge every morning. Saverio is an accomplished cook. His anchovy, Italian pasta is mamma mia! We had a great time around the breakfast table with Saverio and Maggie. It is wonderfully peaceful and so quiet you can hear the silence. In the evening the foxes and night birds chat. The stars are bright in the dark night sky. The conservation area has blue wildebeest, zebras, impalas, blesbucks and kudus roaming freely and congregating at the water point next to the lodge. We went for long walks with our 4 dachshunds on leashes and enjoyed the wildlife and nature. The log house we stayed in is very neat and well furnished. The other staff, Sindy and Max, are very friendly and made our stay very pleasant. Sindy spoiled us every day with a beautiful clean house. The WiFi was not very reliable.
