Description
Echo Caves & Accommodation is situated 27 km outside Ohrigstad in South Africa’s Limpopo Province, and offers comfortable, rustic self-catering accommodation at the Echo Caves tourist attraction. The Echo Caves are some of the oldest caves in the world and were declared a Historical Monument.
Accommodation is offered in 9 rooms, 2 self-catering units, and dormitory/backpacking accommodation. The 9 rooms can accommodate 2 guests each and comprise 1 bedroom and an en-suite bathroom. The rooms are equipped with fridges, microwave and tea and coffee making facilities. The 2 self-catering units comprise 2 bedrooms, bathrooms, a lounge and a kitchen. There are 10 dormitory/backpacking rooms with 15 beds per room, en-suite bathrooms and guests have access to separate ablution facilities for men and women, as well as access to a small kitchen with an urn, a fridge/freezer, stove and tables. Guests also have access to a lapa with an outdoor braai area.
There is a bar, a lounge, and a dining room at Echo Caves, as well as a tea garden out on the lawn. A menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner is available. We also offer catering for big groups. Guests can also enjoy guided tours of the caves.
