The Gables can accommodate between 4 and 10 guests and comprises 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The unit has 2 bathrooms fitted with a toilet, a basin, a bath and a shower. The 3rd bathroom is en suite with a bath basin and toilet.
The unit has kitchen facilities equipped with a fridge, an induction stove, microwave oven, washing and dishwasher. There is also a gas stove for load shedding and battery backup lights. Guests have access to braai facilities and secure parking inside the property. The Gables also has a DStv Premium bouquet with an Explora decoder. Inverters are in place. The lighting, DStv and Wi-Fi works during load shedding.
Grotto Bay is situated next to the Grotto Bay Private Nature Reserve, on the R27, southwest of Darling and 68 km from Cape Town. The Gables is approximately 400 m to the nearest beach. There are also various hiking trails on the estate inland and coastal.
