Guests have access to braai facilities and secure parking inside the property. The Gables also has a DStv Premium bouquet with an Explora decoder. Inverters are in place. Grotto Bay is situated next to the Grotto Bay Private Nature Reserve, on the R27, southwest of Darling and 68 km from Cape Town. The Gables is approximately 400 m to the nearest beach. There are also various hiking trails on the estate inland and coastal.
