Amazing and relaxing. Peter, Diane and Chunky (the resident dog who stays with you) were amazing hosts! What a beautiful valley and venue. The decor and the setting were perfect for a relaxing weekend away.

Unique. Stunning host and unique venue.

What a beauty. The stay is incredible, the view makes you feel like you are in a lush green forest. The suspension bridge towards the house is fun. It is truly in the middle of nowhere, requiring at least a 20-minute ride from Calitzdorp. But that is the whole experience of it. I went with a town car and it's a good gravel road to drive on. The house has everything that you need. There was even a good coffee espresso machine for ground coffee, and a decanter of port. The night sky is beautiful, and as a solo traveler, I felt really safe. The host is a great and loves to welcome you to his atelier/house for some coffee or tea.

Unbelievably amazing, tranquil, perfect getaway from the city. Stay was great, will definitely be back, the host is a great host and Chunky the dog was great company for us. Loved every minute.
