Best glamping escape, into a big 5 reserve, close to Jhb. I have stayed at Leadwood Safari Camp, four times in less than a year. This is the perfect escape out of the city, giving you that luxury camping feel. It has all the luxuries you need to feel like you are on holiday, while still giving you the feeling like you are camping in the bush. They really do cater to kids, so it's a perfect getaway for your little one's first safari, and also not a far drive for them out of Johannesburg; my 9-year-old loves it so much. They also hands down have the best bath that has you looking through the fence into Dinokeng.

An absolute pleasure. We loved our stay. The accommodation was the perfect balance of rustic bush and luxury. The staff ensured that everything was to our liking. The game drive was phenomenal, with the sighting of 5 cheetahs being the highlight.

Clean camp. Well equipped. We really enjoyed our stay. Definitely recommend this place to get away from the busy city. We received great service and the camp was clean and had everything you need. Not too far from JHB, which makes it ideal for a quick weekend break away.
