The Merchant @ Lake Umuzi was inspired by William Shakespeare’s ‘The Merchant of Venice’, and offers comfortable accommodation in a hotel suited for the modern-day business traveller. The hotel is situated in Secunda, and features rich earthy colours, sandstone, granite, dark wood and leather. The Merchant Hotel forms part of the Lake Umuzi Waterfront, with access to a variety of restaurant and entertainment venues.
