The Olive House offers comfortably furnished accommodation for 12 people in Prince Albert, and has lovely views of the Swartberg and the distant Karoo.
Accommodation in the Olive House comprises 2 en-suite bedrooms in the main house as well as 3 en-suite bedrooms situated in the air-conditioned cottages. The main bedroom in the house is furnished with a king-size bed, and has an en-suite bathroom with a bath and a shower.
The second bedroom contains a double bed, and makes use of a shower only. A second double bed is available for children to use. The bedrooms are air-conditioned, and in winter, fireplaces help keep the rooms warm and cosy.
One of the cottage is furnished with a double bed, and has a private bathroom with a shower. The second cottage contains a queen-size bed, and has a private bathroom with a shower, and a bath. The third cottage is furnished with a king-size bed, and has a private bathroom with a bath, as well as an outdoor shower. Two additional single beds, as well as 2 fold-out mattresses, are also available for use. For convenience, all linen and towels are provided.
The kitchen is located in the main house and is equipped with an oven, a gas hob, a microwave, a fridge, a deep freezer, as well as a scullery with a dishwasher, and a washing machine. Guests can enjoy their meals at the dining table.
Wi-Fi access is available and guests can relax in the lounge which is equipped with a TV and day beds, or the library.
Guests can make use of the built-in external braai and a Weber, or relax next to the swimming pool. For extra peace of mind, the accommodation is fitted with an alarm system.
Bicycles can be rented for a cycle into town, and guests can cross the road and walk up the koppie to view the lovely surrounds. Prince Albert offers various activities from mountain biking, hiking, and bird watching, take a guided historical walk through town to view the many national monuments. The town also offers various restaurants and coffee shops, and a Saturday Market.
