Description
The Onrus Homestead is a charming farmhouse retreat on a working farm in the heart of Onrus. This hidden gem offers a unique escape with all modern comforts and is just 2.3 km from the beach.
The spacious home can accommodate 6 guests and comprises 3 bedrooms. The main bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with both a bathtub and shower. The second and third bedrooms each have a queen-size bed. These guests share the use of a bathroom fitted with a shower, toilet, and basin, as well as an additional guest bathroom for convenience. All linen and bath towels are provided.
The open-plan living area features a kitchen fully equipped with a stove, oven, microwave, coffee machine, cutlery, crockery, and a central breakfast bar with stools. A scullery complete with a fridge, dishwasher, and washing machine is also included. Leading from the kitchen is the dining area with ample seating and an indoor braai area. The lounge area has comfy seating, a fireplace, and a wall-mounted TV. Access to free Wi-Fi is available.
The living area opens onto a furnished patio complete with a braai area overlooking the lush gardens and swimming pool. The Onrus Homestead offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape and provides access to a lush vegetable garden, expansive green lawn, and friendly farm animals, including alpacas, cows, ducks, and chickens. Each morning, guests can indulge in a farm-to-table breakfast with six fresh eggs from the on-site chickens, milk from the cows, and herbs and vegetables picked from the vibrant garden.
