Description
The Owl House is a comfortably furnished, self-catering house situated in Kersbosstrand, Dwarskersbos. This holiday home is 200 meters from the beach.
The house is equipped with an inverter and battery system that supplies power to all of the roof mounted lights, TV, WiFi and fridge. There is a gas hob. Load shedding has a minimum impact on guests.
This charming holiday house can accommodate up to 6 persons and consists of 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The main bedroom is furnished with a queen-sized bed and features an en-suite bathroom with a shower. The second bedroom also has a queen-size bed and the third bedroom has 2 single beds. The second and third bedrooms share the second bathroom, fitted with a shower and a bath; both bathrooms have heaters installed, and there are electric blankets fitted on all the beds during winter. Bedding and bath towels are provided.
The well-equipped kitchen contains a fridge-freezer, a microwave, a 4-plate gas stove with an electric oven, as well as a filter coffee machine, a kettle, and a toaster. In the separate scullery, there is a washing machine and a dishwasher, cutlery, crockery, pots and pans, an iron and an ironing board. T-towels, washing up cloths and dishwashing liquid are supplied.
The open-plan living area offers a 6-seater dining room table, sofas to relax on, a TV with selected DStv channels, and a large wood-burning stove that will keep the house cosy and warm in winter. The living area leads to the braai room, which has a built-in braai area, a 6-seater table and chairs; a braai grid, braai rack and braai tools are provided.
Off-street garaged parking is available for 2 vehicles, behind the house.
In Dwarskersbos, there are 2 cafes that sell food and a bottle store. There are 2 restaurants, The See-Kaia and Deli on Main, a hairdresser, an interior décor shop and a laundromat. There is a large supermarket in Laaiplek, and a shopping mall in Vredenburg. There are 4x4 routes in the area, as well as many gravel roads for mountain bikers.
