Located in the center of Storms River Village on the edge of the Tsitsikamma Forest, The Village Lodge is a 3-Star guest house for couples, families and individuals, looking for a comfortable breakaway close to a variety of action.
Accommodation at The Village Lodge comprises Double, Family Rooms and a Self Catering Unit, which are equipped with king-size and double bunk sets, all with en-suite bathrooms that have a shower, basin and toilet. Facilities included in these rooms are wireless internet, electric blankets, a fan as well as tea-and-coffee-making amenities. Braai facilities are available to guests in a large covered lapa, adjacent to the main building. Rates include a delicious healthy breakfast except for self-catering.
The spacious covered lapa has a large braai area plus additional cooking facilities and equipment, with comfortable furniture. Roll-down screens and wood fired heating, create a comfortable candle-lit atmosphere in the lapa during cooler weather whilst the open aspect in summer is a favorite with most clients. There is also a Games room for those rainy days, or just because.
A TV with selected DStv channels is available in rooms; dining areas are situated both inside the lodge and outside in the lapa and garden. The spacious gardens are a year-round delight and secure parking is available within the grounds for clients' cars.
Being centrally located the lodge is close to all local amenities and activities; for eating out there are a number excellent restaurants within a very short walk. Forest walks and hikes, Segway Forest Tours, Tree Top Canopy Tours, Zip-lining and kayaking are just a few of the local activities, and Storms River Mouth is just a short drive away on the dramatic coastline.
