The Wild Edge - First Light Cabin offers an ideal forest getaway near Knysna, with self-catering cottages that are independent of the traditional power grid. Set amidst the natural beauty of the farm, guests can enjoy a peaceful atmosphere and the perfect opportunity to switch off from the hustle and bustle of daily life.
First Light Cabin has a sleeping capacity of 6 guests and comprises 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The main and second bedrooms are each furnished with a queen-size bed and the third bedroom has 2 single beds. The 2 bathrooms are fitted with a bath, and shower, respectively. Crisp linen and bath towels are provided.
The kitchen is equipped with a fridge–freezer, stove, oven, microwave, basic cutlery, crockery, and tea- and coffee-making facilities, and features a 2-seater breakfast nook. There is also a washing machine for guests' convenience. It opens to a dining area and further to the lounge furnished with comfy couches.
The cabin features a delightful patio with a hot tub, comfortable outdoor furniture, a braai area, and a fire pit, offering guests a perfect spot for outdoor relaxation and dining. On the premises, guests can also enjoy access to a communal swimming pool and various walking trails, adding to the tranquillity of the surroundings.
Situated 10 km outside of Knysna, the beautiful drive through the forest serves as the first step in disconnecting from the busy world, setting the tone for a truly rejuvenating getaway.
