Thembe Eco Lodge offers self-catering Open Plan rooms and Campsites, and is situated on a hillside that overlooks the Kwa-Mazambane Reserve, in the Maputu Wetlands of KosiBay, Kwazulu-Natal. Perfect for guests looking for comfortable lodging, with a tranquil atmosphere and beautiful surrounds, close to a variety of action.
The bed configurations in the rooms are either a double bed only, or a bunker bed (2 single beds on top of each other) and a double bed. Each of these rooms have a bathroom with a shower and separate toilet, an open-plan kitchen with facilities such as a fridge and microwave, a stove and other appliances, a patio or stoep with braai amenities as well as cleaning of rooms daily by the lodge's competent staff, to ensure that your stay is as relaxed as possible.
The camping sites are located under huge Marula trees, each with his own braai, tabel and electrical points with light and plug. Thembe Eco Lodge also has a swimming pool with fencing to cool off in, and a play park for children. Activities in and around the area that guests can enjoy are fishing and bird watching, 4x4 trails, game viewing and drives as well as boat trips on the lakes and so much more.
