Thimble Cottage is a charming, double-storey cottage located on a 10-hectare holding, situated outside Underberg, on the road towards Drakensberg Gardens.
This thatched-roof holiday home offers lovely views of the Drakensberg Mountain range and the Umzimkulu River. The property has been in the owner’s family for over 30 years, and has kept all its charm and rustic appeal. The house comprises 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. The main bedroom is furnished with a double bed; the second bedroom is equipped with 2 single beds, and the third room has 1 queen-size bed and 1 bunk bed.
The kitchen contains the basic appliances to cook meal. The open-plan has a dining table with seating, and the lounge features a fireplace. The living area leads out onto the verandah, which has patio furniture to relax on. There is also a braai area to use, and covered off-street parking for a car.
Guests can explore the gardens on the property. For the more adventurous; there are long hiking and bicycle routes to explore or guests can go tubing down the river.
