Fantastic and peaceful environment. From the moment we arrived at the Tides River Lodge it was fantastic. We had a very friendly reception. We traveled by motorbike and were tired. Patience showed us our house and immediately brought wood for our barbecue. The house was very clean, spacious and well equipped. Absolutely everything we needed was there. Despite ongoing rain we were comfortable in Cob cottage. The wood available for the indoor fireplace sits outside in the rain so better bring your own. The thatch roof leaked in a few places. On sunny days neither of these items would be a problem.
