Tortelduif Cottage is operated off the grid and uses solar electricity. It is situated in the quaint little town of Middelburg in the Eastern Cape. The cottage offers comfortable and clean accommodation in a neat unit with beautiful wooden furnishings. This unit is ideally suited for holidaymakers and business travellers. The unit is also suited for overnight accommodation seekers. All water on the property is borehole water.
The double-story flat is completely self-catering and can accommodate a total of 2 persons at a time. The bedroom has 1 double bed, and additional floor mattresses can be laid out for a maximum of 2 children by prior arrangement. The apartment has wooden floors and ceilings which will ensure that you feel warm and cosy especially newlyweds on their way to their honeymoon destination. The bathroom is fitted with a shower, toilet, and washbasin.
There is a well-equipped, self-catering kitchen on the ground floor of the unit, with everything that you will need including a 2-plate mini-stove and oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, and kettle. In the living room, there is a TV with a full DStv package and there is self-regulated air conditioning. Guests also have access to braai facilities and lovely gardens. Off-street parking is provided for guests' vehicles.
The unit is reached by a steep flight of stairs.
