Tranquillo offers self-catering accommodation in a secure golf estate located in the popular holiday destination of Mosselbaai. Nestled at the foot of the Outeniqua Mountains, with an enthralling view over the Indian Ocean, George provides a great base from which to explore the Garden Route.
The benefit of care-free security does come with a bit of inconvenience since there is very strict security at the gate. Guests need to phone the owner to get in and out at the gate. If guests book a stay for longer than 3 nights, the owner will ensure that the guest can enter at the gate via their private phone.
The 2-bedroom apartment is situated on the ground floor of the owners' home and has a private entrance. There are steps leading to the private entrance and the peaceful garden. The first bedroom contains a double bed while the second bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed. Both rooms open onto a balcony which overlooks the ocean and makes use of the same bathroom which has a shower.
There is a fully equipped kitchen fitted with a fridge-freezer, stove, oven, microwave, ice machine, washing, machine, tumble-dryer and dishwasher. The lounge contains comfortable seating, a TV with DStv, and a bookshelf with lots of books to read. A gas braai can be provided on request while secure parking is also available.
Golf enthusiasts can play a game of golf on the estate while enjoying scenic views of the ocean while activities in the town include fishing, hang gliding, diving, water-skiing, hiking, birding, whale watching in season, and horse riding.
