Over priced. The bedding was stained and it is not at all as advertised, the units are old and not kept in a good condition with even some holes in the thatch roof. We were booked to stay for 5 nights but after 2 decided to leave as we could not bear it any longer. There is also a main road close to the units that wake you up early in the mornings. They are over priced for what you get. We over paid them for the 2 nights and they still insisted on the balance being paid, which I refused. They then started harassing us even coming to the event we were at and getting me called over the load speaker for a message. Will not recommend them to anyone and never stay there again.

Tranquil retreat in a beautiful setting with a warm and friendly welcome. Gorgeous setting with friendly service and value for money. The chalet where we stayed in had a beautiful view of the river and one of the best things was sitting on the deck with a cup of coffee and listening to the gurgling of the river below while taking in the surrounding beauty. Treehouse River Lodge's central location makes it the perfect place to stay at and be close enough to all the wonderful attractions that Shongweni has to offer as well as being close enough to the major malls like The Pavilion and Gateway for your shopping fix.
