The understated elegance and charm of the Tsanana Log Cabins & Mulberry Lane Suites offer guests complete privacy to enjoy their holiday, yet also be able to feel part of the wonderful atmosphere on South Africa's only working Silk farm.
There are 4 Luxury Suites all air-conditioned and offer a truly idyllic and indulgent experience. Each suite has a private patio with a spa bath and braai area and looks out onto the indigenous forests. To ensure a romantic breakaway, children are not allowed in the suites, but they are most welcome at the Log Cabins. Units are serviced daily and stocked with tea, coffee, creamer, sugar and sweetener, as well as basic toiletries. Towels are supplied.
There are 3 Log Cabins which offer a more rustic, family feel and are tastefully furnished with a 'Touch of Africa' décor. The cabins cater for groups of 2 to 11 people. All the cabins are air-conditioned. Log Cabin 1 and the Friends & Family Log Cabin have Jacuzzis while Log Cabin 4 has an outside spa bath. All the log cabins have private braai areas and is fully equipped for self-catering. In addition to all crockery and cutlery, all the kitchens have a stove, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment, toaster and kettle. The Cabins are not serviced and towels are not supplied. They are stocked with tea, coffee, creamer, sugar, sweetener and basic toiletries for arrival, but not stocked up daily. To ensure a complete getaway, there is no TV in the rooms.
Memory Lane offers 6 self-catering units, all with private entrances and en-suite bathrooms in the historic 120-year-old farmhouse. Experience old world charm with all the comforts of modern day living. Our Memory Lane Suites are the only units on the farm with DStv.
There is a communal Lapa area with swimming pool, trampoline, and braai area, as well as a Boma for long nights around the fire with friends and family. Being situated on the only working silk farm in South Africa, a guided silk tour is offered.
There is a 3 km hiking trail in natural woods and a Helipad. The perfect base from where to explore the beautiful area. The Phabeni Gate into the Kruger National Park is only 45 km away or take the Panorama Scenic Route with God's Window, Burke's Luck Potholes, Blyde River Canyon, spectacular waterfalls, and more.
