Description
Tshukudu Game Lodge is situated within 3800 hectares of a private game reserve and borders the world-renowned Greater Kruger National Park. The lodge has magnificent views of the Drakensberg Mountains and offers close encounters with a vast variety of game including the Big 5.
All rooms have en-suite bathrooms, and are equipped with a mini-bar fridge, which is stocked on request, tea- and coffee-making facilities, hairdryer, safe for valuables, and amenities that are replenished daily.
For guests that are booked on the Full Board package, breakfasts and light lunches are served on the thatched verandah and showcase South African dishes prepared from fresh local ingredients. Evening dinners are often enjoyed seated around a roaring fire in the African boma, under the stars. Traditional venison dishes also feature on this authentic South African menu.
Recliners under a canopy of thatch beckon guests to enjoy shady relaxation around the pool, which is also a prime vantage point for game viewing. A waterhole lies just beyond the perimeter of the lodge and attracts various antelope species, elephants and buffalo.
The highly skilled guides will accompany guests in the morning and early evening in open 4x4 game-drive vehicles. The private reserve is known for its close encounters with a vast variety of game including the Big 5.
