Description

Nestled in the Mabalingwe Nature Reserve, just two hours from Johannesburg and 25 km from Bela Bela, Twiga Lodge offers self-catering accommodation and is the ideal family getaway for nature and animal lovers. The lodge can accommodate 6 adults and 2 children, and is a self-catering fully equipped home within the Mabalingwe Game Reserve where animals approach your doorstep.

There are 3 bedrooms each furnished with a queen size bed and have en-suite bathrooms fitted with a shower. The air-conditioned living area contains 2 single beds for 2 extra guests as well as a fireplace. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering with a fridge, microwave, oven and a stove. Guests can enjoy Wi-Fi, Netflix, Showmax and a TV with selected DStv channels.

The large patio features braai facilities that spreads out onto the splash pool there is also an outside fire pit. The Lodge has a private watering hole which attracts a variety of wildlife roaming freely around the unit on a daily basis. These include nyala, warthog, impala, zebra, kudu, porcupine, and even rhino and elephant just to name a few. The reserve is very safe with 24-hour security and controlled access.
