Umoya is a cosy guest house in Hilton ideal for those looking to escape and have their own private room. It is an old Hilton home with a unique charm set in a large rambling garden. The distinctly English country village of Hilton with its attractive sense of history lies only 10 km from Pietermaritzburg at the start of the Midlands Meander. The house is a stone's throw from St Anne's College and Cowan House. Hilton College is also easily accessible. Hilton is the gateway to the Midlands which is full of interesting attractions. There is a shopping centre nearby.
Accommodation is offered in 3 individually decorated guest rooms, each with a shower en suite with a toilet and washbasin.
Breakfast and dinner are available on request at an additional fee.
Guests have use of a communal guest lounge which is warmed by a large fireplace on cold winter nights. There is also a sun room, an outdoor covered patio with seating, and a covered patio with seating and a braai area, as well as a swimming pool for those hot summer days. Should guests need to use the well-equipped kitchen that too is available.
