Set in 60 hectares of pristine bush, within the Jock of the Bushveld Conservancy, umSisi House is located in the Peebles Valley between the town of White River and Hazyview with superb access to the southern section of the Kruger National Park via Paul Kruger Gate (40 mins away), Phabeni Gate (30 mins away) and Numbi Gate (20 mins away).
The house only caters for private groups between 4 and 6 guests on either a dinner, bed and breakfast basis or a full board which is an all-inclusive basis. umSisi House comprises 3 en suite bedrooms and a separate cottage with 2 bedrooms, sharing a double shower room. Other facilities include a covered verandah with a dining area and braai, fireplace in the sitting room, Jacuzzi in the rock garden a TV room and library. Wi-Fi is also available.
In this time of load shedding / rotational blackouts, we want our guests to know that we have done everything possible to keep the power on! The house has a gas oven, hob and kettle, a built-in braai, solar geysers for hot water and a battery backup / inverter system that easily sees us through Stage 4 load shedding with lighting, WiFi, DSTV and all plugs operational if used wisely.
A booking service for local activities, including bespoke Kruger safaris in open game-viewers, is also provided. All meals are planned with guests in advance to ensure that the dining experience is a daily highlight. umSisi House welcomes children of all ages.
