Set on the mountainside of Scarborough is Urchin Cottage, a delightful beach cottage offering comfortable self-catering accommodation with beautiful sea views. This little home is artistic and quirky with lots of colourful touches.
The cottage can accommodate up to 6 guests in 2 double beds and 2 single beds, and comprises a full bathroom with a bath, a shower, a toilet and a basin, as well as a guest toilet, and an outside shower with hot and cold water. The open-plan kitchen is equipped with an oven and stove, a fridge, a dishwasher, a kettle and toaster, a microwave, a washing machine, and a tumble dryer. The cottage is equipped with books and toys for children. The beautiful views can be enjoyed from the balcony, and from inside the cottage. The property is enclosed and there is parking on the premises behind a gate.
Guests can enjoy the braai area under the Milkwood tree, which has a built-in bench and a wood fireplace. Take a stroll down to the beautiful Scarborough beach, and enjoy activities in the area such as surfing, wind-surfing, kite-surfing, crayfish diving, relaxing on the beach, or hiking one of the mountain paths.
The nearby Hub Cafe and Camel Rock Restaurant offers great coffee, delicious meals, live music, a deli, a bakery for fresh bread and baked goods. Guests can also visit Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve and Cape Point.
