Dorschfontein Guest Farm Veldcottage offers self-catering accommodation in a cosy cottage situated on Dorschfontein Guest Farm which is located approximately 36 km from Steytlerville in the Sarah Baartman District.
This cottage can accommodate a total of 4 guests at a time and comprises a bedroom with a bathroom. The bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed and the bathroom is fitted with a shower, washbasin and toilet. All linen and bath towels are provided.
The living area features a kitchen equipped with a 2-plate stove with a mini oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, cutlery and crockery as well as a central dining table where guests can enjoy their meals together. Additionally, this area has 2 single beds and a built-in braai.
Outside, there is a lovely patio with extra braai facilities which is a great spot for a sundowner while overlooking the surrounding farm. Mobile phone reception and free WiFi are available at the main house, about 4km from Veld Cottage.
On-site activities include game drives, mule cart rides, 4x4 trails, mountain biking, star gazing, bird watching, horse riding, hiking and mountain climbing with bushmen rock art. Guests can also participate in the daily farm activities and children can help feed the farm animals.
