Vido Lodge and Conference Centre Plot 78 is situated on a 7.3-hectare plot, off the R521 Dendron Road, just 10 km from the Polokwane CBD. The lodge is just a short distance away from the city centre, where guests will be able to explore the many town attractions on offer.
The lodge offers accommodation in 25 en-suite luxury rooms, which includes 12 Standard Double Suites, 5 Self-catering Rooms, 5 Family Rooms, 2 Executive Rooms and a Presidential Suite. Each room features a TV with selected DStv channels, a bar fridge, Wi-Fi, air-conditioning, a hairdryer, complimentary bathroom toiletries, electronic safes, and tea- and coffee-making facilities.
The lodge has various conference facilities, ranging from a private lapa boardroom which comfortably seats 20 delegates, a light conference hall which seats 250 delegates, to Mothema Conference Hall that seats 500 delegates with 3 breakaways session boardrooms which host 20 to 60 delegates. The conference facilities are equipped with multimedia projectors, air-conditioning, sound, screens and flip charts.
Vido Lodge and Conference Centre Plot 78 has a cocktail bar which can service the conference halls. There is also a swimming pool, a double-storey deck which is the perfect setting for a quiet drink after a hectic day at the office and can also be used for functions and accommodate 60 people, and also has the Nakampe Braai Area.
The lodge’s on-site restaurant offers a warm, unpretentious atmosphere where guests can unwind. The restaurant offers a selection of delicious meals that will be sure to cater to every palate.
Vido Lodge also boasts a venue for intimate weddings and an ideal venue for the most romantic wedding photos with beautiful, lush gardens where open-air functions can be catered for.
