Right of Admission Reserved
Minimum 50 % non refundable deposit secures your booking unless otherwise
Should your booking be 15 days or less before the date of initial arrival the full accommodation booking value (100 %) is payable as a non refundable deposit payment to secure the booking
Balance + R 500 Refundable breakage and key deposit payable on arrival in cash (No credit card facility available)
Should the place be left in an untidy state on departure we reserve the right to deduct a fee of R 250 from the refundable breakage deposit for cleaning service (This include dirty dishes)
We do not stay at the self catering & self service accommodation apartments - to avoid waiting for us at an apartment/complex please give us a call when you are about 90 minutes away from Port Elizabeth so that we can meet with you at the premises to check you in on arrival, hand over the keys and collect any outstanding balance + R 500 refundable breakage deposit from you
At the self catering & self service accommodation apartment guests are responsible for the following; Cleaning of apartment; make beds; wash dishes; provide own toiletries & food and do own cooking
There is no dishwasher available at the Guesthouse
No smoking is allowed in the bedrooms
1st Pay 1st Serve
As we receive various booking requests for the same period of stay, we work on a first pay first serve basis; first guest to pay for their accommodation booking is first serve to the apartment booked and we are not obliged to confirmation of any other booking for the apartment for the same period of stay
OCCUPANCY & MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY
No persons other than those quoted for are permitted to share the accommodation unit, should we find that other persons are sharing the accommodation apartment the guest will be liable to pay an additional R 250 - R500 per extra person per night calculated from the day of original arrival until date of departure
Maximum occupancy must be adhere to at all times and includes children of all ages
Arrivals 12 pm - 7 pm ( No check-in after 7 pm )
Prior arrangement to be made for a late arrival and agreed upon in writing, we reserve the right to charge an additional R 200 for a late arrival unless prior arrangement has been made for an arrival after 7 pm and agreed upon in writing
Departure before 10 am
Prior arrangement to be made for a late departure and agreed upon in writing, we reserve the right to charge an additional R 200 for a late departure unless prior arrangement has been made for a departure after 10 am and agreed upon in writing
Whilst every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of all information, Hyde Park does not accept liability for any errors or omissions and reserves the right to change information and descriptions of products in the Properties
Cancellation Policy
To avoid any misunderstanding ~ a booking constitutes a binding contract. All guests confirming a booking are advised to take out insurance to cover the full cost of their accommodation in the event of a cancellation. We will seek compensation for any cancelled accommodation, including premature curtailment

Only signed and written cancellations will be accepted
Should you cancel the booking or you do not arrive or you do not complete your stay, the following cancellation policy will be instituted
Cancellation 16 days + prior to date of arrival ~ guest forfeit 100% of deposit
Cancellation 0 – 15 days prior to date of arrival or a no-show ~ guest forfeit 100 % deposit & guest is liable for balance of the original accommodation booking amount due
Not completing stay of reservation ~ In the event of a premature departure the guest will be liable for the full stay of the original booking made and no refunds will be made
