Apartment was spacious for 5 people. Everything as in the photos. View is good even though the Dias Hotel is in front of the sea. The only problem was the garage parking which is designed for small vehicles. It is an impossible task to get the bakkie past the pillar. Just stopped outside. Traffic towards Mossel Bay flowed nicely. Hartenbos roadworks a bit of a challenge. Fortunately Dias is more than adequate. We will come again.

I'm grateful to be back in my own house even though it doesn't have a sea view. The apartment looked very old and run down and the furniture was old. There was only one key, which was a problem, and I was promised some app that never came, so my family could go out separately. Hot water was only enough for 2 quick showers. Needs serious attention and proper management. The first place we got was extremely smelly and the doors were falling off the hinges. We were given another unit which was slightly better but also needs serious attention. The second apartment also has a very bad rotten drain smell permanently. I had to go and buy caustic soda for all the drains. The shower and the bathtub were blocked. The shower was pathetic. We went to the store to get cleaning materials. We removed a layer of grime from the shower floor. We were offered a few units and the unit we settled for was the best of the worst. We ended up spending the first night just cleaning the entire unit. All the apartments need to be checked before guests are checked in. Whoever you are using for the cleaning service needs serious talking to. The towels were old and worn out. Overall, the place needs an upgrade. I own a guest house in Cape Town and I would never hand over an apartment to any guest even if it was for free.

I would definitely stay at Vista Bonita again - great value for money. I had to be moved to a different apartment on arrival due to a water leak; however, it went smoothly. The apartment had everything I could possibly need, including an oven, microwave, washing machine and dishwasher. The only thing I did not like is the open plan bedroom/bathroom! Because I travelled alone, it was fine, but I would not share the apartment with other people because the bathrooms in both of the two bedrooms (bath, shower and toilet) are open in the bedrooms. It's a 3-5 minute walk to the beach, and right near Seal Island. It was easy to order groceries via the Checkers60 app for delivery to the apartment. I had a stunning view of the ocean! The staff were helpful upon arrival and leaving. I did not get the apartment that I originally booked due to a water leak. The apartment I was moved to had everything I could need including an oven, microwave, dishwasher and iron. The only thing I didn't like about it was that both bedrooms had open plan bathrooms/bedroom combos (bath, shower and toilet stand open in the bedroom), so no privacy if you are sharing the apartment with others (which I wasn't).

Great stay, great value for money. It was great value for money. It was close to the venue of our function (Diaz Hotel) and close to the beach and shops. Would recommend it to stay. The only negative was the unit we stayed in had 2 bathrooms, but the one bathroom didn't have a shower, only a bath with a handheld shower head. But that's more personal preference; everything else was great, and the views are stunning.
