Vonkelwyn is a stunning light, white, and bright self-catering house situated in Voëlklip, Hermanus, and is just a stone’s throw away from Grotto Beach. This house is ideal for a larger family or group of friends and offers comfortable seaside accommodation.
This house has a sleeping capacity of 8 guests and comprises 4 tastefully furnished bedrooms, with 4 bathrooms. The main bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed and has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath, shower, basin, and toilet. The second room has a double bed and en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower. The third and fourth bedrooms are each furnished with a double bed and share the use of a bathroom fitted with a shower, basin, and toilet. There is also a guest bathroom on the first floor. Crisp linen and towels are provided.
The modern open-plan kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge-freezer, gas hob, electric oven, microwave, air fryer, toaster, basic cutlery, crockery, and tea- and coffee-making facilities and features a dishwasher. A washing machine and tumble dryer can be found in the laundry area downstairs. The lounge is furnished with plush seating and features a fireplace and a flat-screen TV with Netflix, which guests can log into their own personal accounts. The adjacent braai area comprises a bar fridge and a 10-seater dining table ideal for family dinners.
The large sliding doors open onto a patio with stairs ascending to the Vonkelwyn stoep where breathtaking views of the mountains and the ocean capture the imagination. This is the ideal spot to savor a morning cup of coffee or enjoy a glass of wine while watching the sunset.
Downstairs, a room with a flat-screen TV and a small kitchenette is available for entertainment. Guests have access to complimentary Wi-Fi and the house comes with a power backup system. Furthermore, guests are afforded secure parking on the premises for 2 cars and the property is secured with an alarm system.
